So many mistakes I've made-
My past was one wrong turn.
I kept messing up again and again.
It seemed I'd never learn.

All the advice I didn't take
Swimming around in my head-
I stumbled so many times,
Its surprising I'm not dead.

But...
Where did I go right?
What exactly did I do?
Somehow I got off track,
And I found you.

My path is suddenly so clear.
I know what I want in life
When you are near.

Your love is an intense force
That drives my life to you.
It makes me feel comfortable
Because its steady and true.

You show me who I want to be
With strength, peace, and laughter.
I have come to life inside-
Moving away from sure disaster.
